Welcome to the Awiser blog
Why we built the Awiser blog: the stories, ideas, and lessons we want to share as we build the social network for ambitious creators.
The Awiser blog exists for one reason: to share what we learn as we build.
Most of what happens inside a startup never gets written down. Decisions get made, lessons get learned, and the next quarter wipes them out before anyone outside the team ever hears about them. We think that is a missed opportunity, both for us and for the people building alongside us.
What you will read here
We will publish three kinds of writing on this blog.
Product notes. When we ship a feature that we think is interesting (or one that we got wrong and had to redo), we will explain what we tried, what worked, and what we would do differently. The goal is not marketing. The goal is to put our reasoning on paper so the next builder facing the same problem has a starting point.
Field reports. Awiser is built around a thesis: that the best way to find collaborators is to share what you are actually working on, not the polished version of it. We are testing that thesis in production every week. The reports cover what we are seeing in the data, what users tell us, and where we are wrong.
Engineering and design deep dives. From the Lexical editor we use for posts, to the SSR strategy behind this very page, to the design system that keeps the surface coherent across forty plus tile components, there is a lot of work that does not show up in the product but matters every day. We will write about it.
What you will not read here
No top ten lists. No SEO bait. No reposted thought leadership.
How often we publish
Roughly twice a month. Quality over cadence. If we have nothing useful to say one month, we will say nothing.
Stay in the loop
You can subscribe to the RSS feed or follow us on Instagram. If you want to write a guest post or have something you think we should cover, write to support@awiser.co.
Thanks for reading. We are excited to share what we are building with you.
