Verified plan: a Startup Fame badge on your homepage, checked by a bot. The followed link lasts as long as you stay listed.
The $19 a month Highlight plan drops the badge. Not to be confused with Startup Fast.
Is it worth it for your product?
- Fits
- A launch platform puts a new product in front of its own community, so it fits a product that is ready for first users to try.
- Costs
- Nothing to pay, but your own site has to link to startupfa.me. The followed link is the other half of that trade.
- Watch
- The link back is a link exchange. Google lists excessive link exchanges as link spam; one badge is a small trade, many are a pattern.Read the policy: Google's spam policies (opens in a new tab)

What a documented test of directory listings found:
Most directories send little: ShieldLabs' Yahor Papou reports 171 sessions from directories out of about 3,300, more than half of them from BetaList alone.
